Prof. Birgül Tantekin Ersolmaz

Prof. Tantekin-Ersolmaz received her BS in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, MS and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA. She joined the Chemical Engineering Department of ITU in 1991. Her current research interests are membrane-based gas and liquid separations, polymer and polymer based composite materials as well as membrane formation and characterization.

Prof. Göktuğ Ahunbay

Prof. Ahunbay received his BSc and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering from Bogazici University and PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Akron, USA. His research focuses on investigation of structure-performance relationship of materials via molecular modelling in the areas of carbon capture, membrane-based CO₂ separation along with zeolite and MOF adsorbents.

Prof. Ahmet Sirkecioğlu

Prof. Sirkecioğlu received his BS, MS and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. His main research interest is use of zeolites in ion exchange and adsorption.

Assoc. Prof. Sadiye Halitoğlu-Velioğlu

Assoc. Prof. Velioğlu received her BS in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University followed by MS and PhD degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the same university. She currently focuses on synthesis of nanocomposite membranes, advanced characterization methods for investigation of structure-property relationship in addition to modelling of novel nanomaterials at molecular level.

Ayşe Kılıç

Ayşe received her BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. She is currently a PhD candidate in the same program and her research interests are gas separation, polymeric and mixed matrix membranes as well as metal-organic frameworks.

Aysa Güvensoy-Morkoyun

Aysa received her BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering in addition to BS in Molecular Biology and Genetics (Double Major Program) from Istanbul Technical University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering Program of Istanbul Technical University and interested in desalination, organic solvent nanofiltration, thin film nanocomposite and nanolaminate membranes along with molecular simulations of related materials.

Cansu Yıldırım

Cansu received her BS in chemistry and MS in Material Science and Engineering from Koç University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Polymer Science and Technology program of Istanbul Technical University. Her research interests are polymeric membranes, polymer composites and nanomaterials as well as spectroscopy and other characterization techniques.

Duygu Kahraman

Duygu received her BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul University and Istanbul Technical University, respectively. She is currently a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering Program of Istanbul Technical University. Her research interests are membrane-based gas separation as well as synthesis and characterization of polymeric membrane materials such as polyimides, thermally rearranged polymers and polymers of intrinsic microporosity.

Müzeyyen Demirci

Müzeyyen received her BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. She is currently a MS student in Chemical Engineering program of Istanbul Technical University and her research interests are mixed matrix gas separation membranes and hollow fiber membrane modules.
